Bedtime Question Game

Putting Jared to bed last night and we started playing the question game. We laughed as he told me his favorite friend that is a girl (Libby), favorite friend that is a boy(Austyn) , favorite uncle (Trevor), favorite color (green, blue and white) and of course his favorite toy (Wii). I love snuggling up to him and laughing with him as he tells me about his day. As I am trying to crawl out of his bed to leave he yells, Wait it is your turn!

His little giggle was contagious as he asked me questions about my boyfriend, ("Dad of course") and he thought it was so funny that one of my favorite toys was to play dress up. Then he got serious and says, "Mom, you had a baby that died in your stomach." I as shocked. I haven't sat down with him and talked about my miscarriage (at 11 1/2 weeks) to him. None of the kids even knew that I got pregnant. Who told you that? How did you know? "I am just figuring it out," was his reply. We talked a few minutes and he gave me great insight into his own little mind. He was sure that this is the reason I was sad sometimes and that this time it was a baby girl that died. He put his arms around me and held me tight and then said, love you mom good night.

I am so blessed to have my children. Love you Jared.

Who am I really?

This question has been running through my head all week. Who am I really? I try to fill all these roles that I "think" I need to fulfill. The question I pose to myself is, How? How am I supposed to fill the roles that I NEED too and those that I WANT too. Don't forget the roles that are EXPECTED or GIVEN to me. The only thing I know for certain is that I feel I have been stretched so thin that I am not doing ANY of the roles to my potential or my desire.

My current list includes
-Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Daughter in Law, Visiting Teacher, Laurel Advisor, School Volunteer, Homework organizer and enforcer, Choir member, Musician, instant carpooler, financial guide, MAID, personal trainer, friend, Sounding board, House keeper, Chief, Organizer, Cheerleader, A mother of 5, Scrapbooker, Mother of the Year, Positive, Daughter of God, Best Friend, Counselor, Teacher, Example or Influence for Good, Vacation Planner, Super Mom, Fun, Hilarious, Courageous, Confident, Handle Stress and Change Well, Overcome Heartache and Trials, Strong, A Pillar, Leader, The go to gal, Creative, Healthy/Fit, Runner, Flutist, Hairstylist, Hygienist, Artistic, Photographer, Vocalist, College Graduate, An Anchor, "Just a MOM", laundry mat, personal assistant, Historian, Record Keeper, Happy, Beautiful, Can rebound, Gardner/planter, Playmate, Champion, Competitor, Dare Devil, Well Read, Scriptorian, Has it all together, ECT. (plus all those roles that I don't even know I have)

I have no idea who I REALLY am?

Stuck in Christmas Mode

Christmas has passed, gifts have been opened, family gatherings, parities, tons of food eaten, mini vacation to Grandmas, cousin sleepovers, the YUCK came through our house , the new year has begun and the kids are back in school.
However, I am still in the Christmas Mode. The stockings are hung, the tree is still lit, and I find myself going online to find many more deals. I need to rewrap all my Christmas books so I will be ready next year but we are still find ourselves opening the ones we haven't read. I continue to watch Christmas movies that are still on my DVR and I am wondering if Santa will just stop by one more time. I think I will, "cry the day that I take the tree down."
I am not ready to start a new year, to write down my goals or to put away all our new things. I think I will put on my robe, snuggle on the couch, put a movie in and relax.

Wow where did 2011 go

Has it really been almost a year since I wrote on this blog? I guess I am making a goal to write more often. It is finally looking a little bit like Christmas at our house. We cut down the Christmas tree over the week end, had Jaylynn's band concert, made goodies for the neighbors, wrapped VT gifts, I was able to sing in the Christmas Concert and I opened/found my Christmas present (a new family van), all this past week.

Getting Organized/Cleaned

I should take a picture because it will last longer. This week I have been inspired by a few organization blogs. It got me off the couch and into the kitchen . . . to clean and organize that is. Since we have been in the new house (10 months) I have never liked how my pantry situation is. I decided to go through the BIG food storage pantry and bring in what I can into the kitchen pantry which I haven't used yet. So here is my list of accomplishments this week
- Cleaned out BIG Pantry, wiping down all shelves and organizing boxes
-Cleaned out the two small pantry cupboards in kitchen (finding new homes for the things put in them) , filling the shelves with food
-Organized the spices, Tupperware, lids, baking supplies, silverware drawer, #10 cans and pans
-wiped out every cupboard, shelf and drawer in the kitchen
-wiped all the fronts of the cupboards, back splash, lower walls, sink
-got rid of the extra "junk" drawers
-found a IMPORTANT PAPER STATION that I want to make, got supplies
-cleaned all small and large appliances,
-Fridge and freezer smell great and I cleaned under and behind it
-Don't forget sweeping and mopping the floor
-Put in a new pan system and shelf for my plates
-De junked under the kitchen sink and found that I had a leak (put that on my hubby list)
-OH and I bought a new garbage can

Now if I could just tell everyone that the kitchen is off limits for the next week so I can work on my other list.

I have already cleaned out the front coat closet, de junked the three baskets of stuff from trip and cars, put up a new mail station by the back door and those were on my new list.
Next week I have a few more projects that I need to get done.

Year 2010

The year is coming to an end and what a great year it was for the Cowley family.
We were able to purchase our first home in February just around the corner from the rental house. The kids have enjoyed the outside space and backyard. I have loved having more space for living. We got to work and didn't move in until March. We still have many project to start and finish but we are loving our home. I enjoyed planting flowers this year and knowing I will enjoy them again in the spring.

We had the opportunity of having our family come for Heritage Days and experience the 4th of July, Huntington style. The rest of the summer was filled with fun, a new trampoline, bike rides, Camping, Classic Rollerskating with family, a little boating, Hatch reunion, This is the Place Monument Park, the zoo with Grandma, Lava Hot springs with the Ottley cousin, a fabulous Sea World Trip and a visit with CA cousins for Thanksgiving. Jeff and I also enjoyed a few days together at Zions to celebrate 15 years of marriage. OH, and don't forget the wonderful week end with my mom the St George to celebrate my 35th birthday.

We have been so blessed with Jeff's job at CNS and his service as a City Councilmen. Jeff continues to love his job and works as the Executive Secretary in our ward. He loves his bike and I even got him running this summer. He even ran his first 10K in October. He has enjoyed working on outside projects and has great ideas to better our home. He has loved having his brothers around to work out with.

I have been blessed to work with the Young Women in our ward. I loved girls camp and wish we could of done it again. The girls are amazing and I love serving them. I also was involved with Youth Conference, amazing. I continue to strive to balance out my life, physically, mentally and spiritually. I had the opportunity to tend our neighbor, Libby, again this year and we have loved having her in our home. Life is busy but I have had moments to spend time on craft making or "doo da" creating. I enjoy life most when we are happy, healthy, and my home is filled with friends and kids.

The kids are all growing up so fast. Jaylynn is now 12 and in young women's. She is blossoming into a beautiful young women and continues to be my big helper at home, even if she doesn't like it at times. She continues to love dance and just this week she passed her test to get her Ballet POINT shoes. She loves to read if she finds that special book. She has loved having her own room. Jaylynn started playing the flute this year in school and just had her first concert.

Alyssa is 10 and has made great strides in improving her reading skills in school. She has been blessed by wonderful teachers to help her with her dyslexia. Alyssa loves to draw, create, dress up, be in charge and play with her brothers. She loves babies and would hold them all day long if she could. You can find Alyssa many times in her room singing a song and drawing.

Jared is 5 and in his second year of preschool. He continues to love school and play with his friends. He will even go over to the neighbors to play without me. He loved T-ball this summer but when he tried soccer is wasn't his favorite. Jared can make anything out of everything. Duct Tape is his favorite tool. He had his own "garden" this summer. He would plant anything in a cup and see if it would grow. Jared is known to go outside and find wood and build himself a zoo, horse stable, house for the cat or even create a new world for him to play in. He can't stand staying inside, even in December he is outside as soon as he wakes up.

Dylan, my sweet 2 1/2 Poo Bear. Dylan is a crazy boy. He isn't afraid of anything or anyone. We have to watch him closely because he will just be down the street at the neighbors or out the store front door. He loves to make you laugh and makes the funniest faces. He still calls himself the baby and won't let even a baby doll be the baby when they play house. He loves Diego, Cars and balls. He loves to color, mostly on my walls. Dylan as so much energy that some days it makes me tired just watching him play.

This year has brought challenges and blessings, but this year has been filled with family, loved ones and memories. 2010 was a really good year.

Jared turns 5-Party #5

We celebrated Jared turning 5 a few days late since Jeff and I were out of town. Today we woke up and started getting ready for the party. Jared was so excited and I was still tired from vacationing with Jeff. I pulled it all together with the help of my mother in law and my friend Cassie stayed for the party. The kids had fun decorating bags with sticker, coloring spider man pages, stringing candy beads for a spider neckless, playing toss, running with balloons between the legs, popping the balloons, straw under nose race and Jared's favorite the donut eating contest on a string. We had picnic and Jared loved all the fun gifts his friend brought. My last minute rice crispy "cake" didn't go over very well but I told them all the cupcakes would be ready for the entire preschool class when school was almost over.

The cupcake making began and the wrapping of our gift to him was delayed because I couldn't find tape. You have to realize that any tape in the house is aways found and used by Jared. I got it all ready, cleaned up the party mess to get ready for the next one. Our FHE Birthday party was a hit. Jared loved all of his Dino's and Dragon gift. Grandma gave him more tape and a rope and he was in heaven.

During bedtime Jared looked into my eyes and said, "You are the best mom ever!" It made it all worth it. I sure do love my Jared. He is adventurous, timid, shy, a peace maker, a big teaser and my little boy that can create anything with nothing. I love you Jared. Happy 5th Birthday.
(Haven't done his photo shoot, pics are from 1st year preschool graduation in June)

I had a Birthday- Party #4

What a wonderful birthday. I was busy with getting the house cleaned and laundry done when my friend Cassie called. We visited on the phone and she stopped by just an hour later. Visiting and catching up on the summer months was a fun surprise. Later, good friend Angela come over and brought me lunch. Living in a small town we just don't have many options. We decided to eat in so that I could put Dylan in bed and her little ones could play in the play room. This was a good option for me because I was kids free, had a wonderful lunch and had my wonderful friend to chat with. The evening got crazy because Jeff went home teaching so I was left to make dinner. (Jeff usually makes breakfast food for my birthday) I started getting the eggs out when the kids decided they wanted to make me dinner. Well . . . they made Ramon Noodles. Lets just say that I ate cake and ice-cream for dinner instead of the GROSS noodles that these kids seem to just love. Cathy and Paul came over and we had a little party. Jeff was sweet to have a few things new for me to open. He even gave me a beautiful flower arrangement. I tease him all the time about giving me flowers in September. (Birthday and Anniversary month) I truly didn't think he would get me anything because I was going to St. George with my mom to celebrate what a great daughter I am, JK.

St. George was amazing. I loved visiting with my mom and really talking. It seems that when we go to visit we are all busy with "reunion" things that we just don't get to talk. SO the drive was a great opportunity to get in some mommy and me time. We had a fabulous time visiting the outlets, temple, tabernacle, some other historical sites, going to a movie, exercising together, spending money and seeing CRAZY FOR YOU. I Love the music and the dancing was fabulous.
FYI: I just found out that my cousin has a stone on the steps of the Tuacahn. Love you Jodi.

The best part was when my mom told me how much she loves me. I have a hard time hearing that people love me, and I always have. When my mom put her arms around me and told me how wonderful I was I just cried, silly I know. I mean I am a mom and I know how much I love my kids and hurt when they hurt and are happy when they are happy. SO when my mom told me how she felt in that moment I just let it soak in. I love you mom, thanks for always loving me even when I don't love myself. Anyways . . . moving on.

I am now a year older and hopefully a little wiser. Thanks everyone that made my Birthday one to remember.

Party #3 Jaylynn turns 12

To my surprise the Bishop called Jaylynn to the stand in sacrament meeting and advanced her to Young Women". Wait, her birthday isn't until Tuesday, I wasn't ready to see my beautiful girl leave primary! Several people came up to me and said how grown up she looks and how beautiful she is. Today was the day that my wonderful Jaylynn turns 12. It wasn't like any other birthday she has had. I started the day making a big breakfast, knowing that our evening wouldn't allow time for all of us to sit down together. I couldn't find the candles, so a match had to work in her pancakes as we sang to her.

I surprised her at school with balloons and a small treat to share with her class. When she got home she saw her gifts all wrapped up on the mantle but didn't ask to open them. We were busy with homework and dance class. Dance started today and she was excited to be in the pre-point class. I think her favorite thing was that she was able to attend mutual tonight. Since we couldn't get everyone together I brought her brownies (at her request) and ice-cream to YW. We played friendship Bingo and all the girls were very welcoming. Jaylynn did say she was tired when we arrived home after her bedtime. BUT she then asked if she could open her gifts. Nothing fancy but she was so sweet to allow Dylan to open her gifts for her.

Tomorrow she gets to go out to lunch with her Grandma and go get a pedicure. OH, I can't forget that Jeff gave her a long stem rose and I think that she felt like a princess. She is excited that she can now get her ears pierced, now we just need to make the trip to get it done.
Can't believe that she is 12 but I can believe that she is a blessing in my life and I love her.

(picture is taken at a family reunion. I need to go on a photo shoot and get her 12 year old pictures done)

Party #2 - Preschool Begins

All week Jared has been asking, "School Day today?" Today I was able to answer with a yes. He said he wasn't ready yet to go and I assured him that he had plenty of time to play with his sweet friend. He played hard, ate a good lunch, got dressed in his new school clothes and took pictures to show that he was excited to start preschool again.

The "party" started when we were driving down road to Teacher's house. "I not want to go, mom. You stay with me?" I told him that I would stay and watch him hang his backpack and turn over his name. Jared walked into the school his hand in mine, hung up is backpack and then hung on my leg until it was his turn to turn over his name. To my surprise he then past by me and ran outside to play on the new playground. Wow, I thought it would be harder then that. I then found Dylan telling him it was time to go back to the car. Jared saw me picking him up and the the "party" began. "It's my party and I'll cry if I want too." comes to mind as I think about today. All tears, arms clung to my legs and a little voice telling me he wants me to stay forever. I got down on his level and assured him that I would be back for him and left him in his teachers care.

After dropping balloons at the Elementary for our other party that happened today. I pulled up to our Preschool with a Smiley Yellow balloon and a treat for my sweet Jared and his fun friend. I hoped that he wasn't still sad When he came around the corner he gave me that shy look only Jared can give and ran to me. "OH, Jared you found your smile, this is for you!" He gave me a big hug and we went home and looked at his papers. Hours later, Jared almost knocked me over as he ran into my legs with a big bear hug. "Mom, you are the best mom ever." This is when MY party really began. It was all worth the craziness just to hear my sweet son tell me the loves me.

P.S. Day two - if I mentioned school he would go hide, I said nothing about school until he was fed, dressed, hair done, backpack in car and he was sitting in the car. He knew that we were going to school and the tears started. I had to carry him in, put him on a chair, told him he couldn't get off until he found his happy space and had to leave him with the teacher. OH, I hope this gets better. I have to remember that he was the same way last year - tears at drop off - smiles at pick up

September begins with Party #1

September is my favorite month. Our house is always crazy and we plan on having a "party" at least once each week. We had our first "party" up in the mountains this past Monday. Being the holiday and Jeff finally not having to work, it gave us the change to go have a picnic. We gathered our little ones, stopped at our favorite subway and grocery store for supplies, threw in a few chairs and a blanket and off we went. We spent a fun few hours exploring one of the kids favorite spots. I laughed when we pulled into the camp site and the kids all recognized it from our time we spent their last year with our neighbors. They quickly ran into the forest to find that their "house" was still all put together, pretend beds, firewood, windows and even kitchen was all still set up under the great pine tree branches. We of course had to skip rocks into the running river with the boys. It was fun just to be outside. Wish I had the camera because the sky was beautiful. Can't wait until to tell you about next party.

Back to School

Back to School is always an exciting time. It is a time to celebrate, RIGHT! Any reason to have a party is fine with me. I saw this cake one night when I was surfing blogs. Love it, so I made it for family night. We had our traditional fathers blessings and music night. Then it was time to dig into the Back 2 School cake with ice-cream for desert. Notice all the little figure marks on the cake, Dylan just couldn't wait for me to take the picture. The kids loved it and it was fun to get ready for the next day.

The girls were so excited for the first day of school that they got up before their alarm went off. Alyssa had me walk her into her 4th grade class. Jaylynn, on the other hand said, "see ya later mom." I hope they are as excited tomorrow morning as they were this morning.

Being in the crafty mood I was in . . . I decided to make another "pencil" craft. I started thinking I would just make 2 for my own girls but, I came up with the great idea of making them for my young women. I hope they all show up tonight for mutual because these are yummy adorable treats made by me.

The day was filled with the girls gone to school, the boys playing with each other, me crafting and I even got my visiting teaching done. Wow what a great first day of school

Lost and Found

I just found my photo card that had my Halloween pictures on it. I was so excited that I wanted to show you how cute my goblins were last October.

Jared was a zebra. He loved running around and making all sorts of "zebra" noises. He played in this costume until I had to return it to our friend. Just the other day he said that he wanted to play in his zebra outfit. I think he just likes to pretend to be a horse and a zebra is the next best thing.

Dylan was my little dragon. I fell in love with with costume and I was impressed that he kept it on. Actually, we still have this costume in the dress up bin because he continued to wear the top half of the dragon all winter long. It was a great jacket until I tried to get him into the car seat. The tail just kept getting in the way.

Jaylynn wanted to be a midnight fairy. She is at the age that she wants to dress up but she has to OK it with her friends. I tried to get her to be something scary but she loves all the pretty makeup that she got to were with this costume. She made her crown herself.

Alyssa wanted be a wizard. This was actually an adult costume that my mother-in-law helped alter. She loved to put magical spells on people. I think this was a different way of being a fairy, princess, and witch all wrapped up into one costume. She looked beautiful and she loves having powers.

This was the first year in many years that I didn't dress up. It seemed that we had many nights of Trick-or-Treating, School parties, Ward Trunk or Treat. But best of all we loved having all of the candy. We put all of the kids treats together and they had to earn each piece. It is amazing what a little treat with motivate kids, including me, to get done in the day. I threw out the end of the candy right before we moved into the new house in March.
Halloween is a favorite time of year in our house. Just think . . . it is right around the corner. I wonder what we will all be.

What would I do without you

Just a look at how Jaylynn is growing into such a beautiful girl. She is a big helper in our home. During the fourth we had the family all here in Huntington. Jaylynn helped so much as Jeff was busy with City Counsel and I wasn't feeling well. Plus I was playing the role of host and was crazy making sure all was going well. Thanks to Jaylynn the boys were ready for the day, dressed and fed by the time I got back from all the races. I love her so much. I am blessed to have her as my eldest. I know that I require a great deal from her. She has a strong and righteous spirit which I am greatful for. I love you Jaylynn

Dylan and his treasures

This is my Dylan up in the mountains gathering rocks. His poor cheeks were so dry and red. He was such a mess but so much in love being outdoors for days as went camping. Dylan loves to put treasures into his pockets. He thinks that he is a big kid and wants to be right into the action. As we went on a nature hike all the other kids went ahead of us. Dylan wanted to take it all in, plus he IS one of the small kids and his legs just don't go that fast. I love his crazy white hair, his smile and his dimples. Most of all I love him for the spirit that he is. He keeps me busy running after him. His laugh is contagious. His eyes will melt my heart. I find his small hands in things that he isn't supposed to be in. We had a fun walk gathering treasures which he shared with the rest when we returned to camp.

The TIGERS take 3rd Place

Alyssa finishes up the season by taking third place. Today she had her final party where she received the award for having the greatest spirit on her team. She had an amazing coach and gained some skills to start loving the sport of soft ball. It was fun to watch her play. She was one of the "big" hitters on her team, but only if she didn't get nervous. She only got hit by the ball once and still made it around the bases with a smile. So proud of you Alyssa. GO TIGERS

Jared T-Ball

Jared loves baseball. He gets tired being out on the field unless he is playing first base. I had a chance to be on the field with him to help coach. He had a great learning experience and I loved taking pictures of him. Jared says that he wants to play everyday. He has been a big supporter of his sisters as they finished up their season. He was so proud to get a medal and a trophy. When we got home he ran into the house and dropped his trophy in the processes. It shattered into four pieces. Many tears and phone calls later I talked to him about it. He responded, "Who cares mom." He decided that the medal was enough and he was out the door with his bat and ball ready to play with dad.

Light bulb moment

This week end I was able to attend our youth conference. What an amazing three days. It was all wonderful but the light bulb moment for me was when we had our speaker up in the mountains. The temple President came to speak to us. I have heard him speak before and he always has a way of making things come alive. The youth laughed and felt the spirit. He talked about our theme which is Be Strong and Courageous. He asked us to think a moment of what our spirits would say to each other. So many times we hear ourselves complain about not getting enough sleep, food or exercise. How does our spirit feel. Are they "starving" for spiritual food? Do the just ache for a taste of the Holy Ghost?
He spoke to us about what would happen to our spirits if we gave it just a little of the Book of Mormon, the holy ghost, service or even prayer. How different would our spirits be. It seems silly but it was my LIGHT BULB MOMENT. The spirit touched my heart because I needed to be reminded to stop and feed my spirit. I can just imagine what our spirits were saying to each other during the testimony meeting. It was an amazing three days.

Keeping preschool alive

Since preschool is done for the year, I decided to keep the learning alive. Jared, Dylan, Libby (the cute little friend I tend in the mornings) decided to go on a field trip. We planned it yesterday and as soon as Jared woke up he asked, "Are you ready to go to the flower shop?" We all piled in the mini van to go see all the colors of flowers. We put our looking glasses on to find the yellow flower I wanted to add to one of my pots. We gathered a few of the kids favorites before heading outside to see the pond. Dylan got a little too close and fell in. They wanted to catch a gold fish so bad. I thought we better pay for our things and get out of there because preschool field trips with a 2 year old can only last so long before disaster strikes.

Having little helpers plant the flowers was a "trip" in its self. It was getting windy so we will plant the rest later. Jared is so exited to finish planting his flower garden.

Personal Information

I was told about this site that is has personal information on it. Go to www.spokeo.com to see all your own information that is being shared with others. You can delete your information by going to the Private button on the lower right of the sight. I was able to delete Jeff's information without a problem. My own information is gone except for the MAP to get to my house. I am still working on getting it all off this site. I don't really like that people can see so much information and pictures of my family

Wind

Yesterday was a really windy and rainy day. I loved opening my windows and getting the fresh air in. In the afternoon it cold and really wet so I closed up all the windows, soccer was cancelled, softball was cancelled and I was alone with all the kids. Jeff had city counsel and I watched a movie. What a wonderful day Today, we were busy with preschool field trips, grocery shopping, a quick trip to the park and tending extra kids. When I was unloading the car Jared kept yelling at me. He was going in the neighbors yard. You have to understand that Jared is hard to understand sometimes. Libby, our extra friend, told me that he wanted to jump on the trampoline. I yelled across the front yard and told them to go to the back yard and jump. Libby then told me that our trampoline was in the neighbors yard. Yep, the trampoline sailed across the six foot vinyl fence in the wind storm and landed in the neighbors yard. Lucky I didn't find any damage the the fence, trees, power lines or the neighbors yard. I just cant imagine how it got there. Jeff and I just took the entire thing down and found only one pole is bent. Weird, because all of our buckets, balls and other outside toys are still in their places. I guess the trampoline just needed to have a jump of its own

Surprise 1 2 3

1 -Surprise I am still alive and I am actually making a post to my blog that gets no attention.

2-Today I woke up before sunrise to go walking with my friend. I haven't been awake this early since the baby was waking me up to eat. He sleeps through the night so I sleep in until morning.

3-The girls walked out the door for school to find . . . a stray cat that has been hanging around had babies on our front rocking chair. Surprise now he have MORE stray cats around. Jared bothered them all morning so the momma cat has moved them to the neighbors yard. NOTE: we are talking care of the neighbors cat.

Birthday Postponed

We decided to postpone Dylan's birthday. He turned one today but with a high fever he just wasn't our happy guy. No presents, no cake or gathering of family members. Lots of Tylenol and rocking in the chair. We hope to have a big birthday bash when he feels better. (Plus, I have been very sick myself and I wasn't up for putting on a party.)

What a Surprise!

Months ago I noticed a charge on our credit card that wasn't made by me. When I asked my sweet husband about it he said, "You weren't suppose to see that." Christmas went by and I didn't think much of it until I saw another charge on the credit card. OH, hubby what have you been charging on the credit card? I do all the finances so I like to know how to budget.

Jeff tried to surprise me with a Valentine's get away. We left the kids with his mom and spent they day and night in SLC. Desert Star Theatre made us laugh so hard. We went and saw HOME SCHOOL MUSICAL. It was so funny. He then took me too The Anniversary Inn

We stayed in the Lake Powell Suite. Lake Powell has always been a favorite place for me. We went together for the first time when we were engaged. It was perfect, romantic, fun, relaxing, enjoyable, and I felt like the most loved woman in the world. Thank you Jeff for such a great Valentines Day
This is the breakfast that they brought to our room. When we arrived there was Apple Cider on ice and cheese cake. Some of my favorite things. I love you Jeff!

Love is in the air

I love my kids. This month has been filled with love notes, baking cookies, surprises, valentine bingo, love dice game, a treasure hunt to a special valentine, hugs and kisses.
